Akhirnya Phil Heath, 31 tahun, berhasil menjadi binaragawan ke 13 yang berhasil menjuarai lomba binaraga profesional Mr Olympia yang ke 47 (pertama kali diadakan pada tahun 1965), mengalahkan juara bertahan dan pemegang 4x Mr Olympia, Jay Cutler, 38 tahun. Asrelawandi, atlit binaraga nasional dari Riau yang biasa dipanggil Unyil merupakan salah seorang binaragawan Indonesia yang berhasil menjadi juara pada Kejuaraan Binaraga Asia 2008 yang diadakan di Tseung Kwan O stadium di Hong Kong, China. Si Unyil ini turun di kelas 60 kg.

Hidetada Yamagishi merupakan binaragawan Jepang dan Asia pertama yang bisa bertanding di ajang lomba binaraga profesional Mr Olympia pada tahun 2007 (urutan ke 13) dan berhasil menembus 10 besar Mr Olympia pada tahun 2009 (urutan ke 9) dan 2010 (urutan ke 10).

Pada tahun 2010 Hide juga akhirnya berhasil untuk pertama kalinya menjuarai sebuah kejuaraan profesional IFBB, Orlando Show of Champions. Dibawah ini merupakan foto-foto penampilannya saat menjuarai IFBB Orlando Show of Champions 2010.
